    About Me
I was just reading a 1992 issue of PC Computing. They talk about how people are starting to move from MS-DOS to the new Windows 3.0 environment. Flash drives are $400 for a 5-inch-square box that holds 20 MB of data, with up to 80 MB available for around $600, and the leading SX-based systems are pushing 8MB of RAM and hold roughly 200MB on the hard drive. The laptops, er, notebooks, weight upwards of seven pounds, have tiny B+W displays and big beige keyboards, and they cost over $2000 for a decent model. History lessons and amusement at the same time.
