    I cant post on the hijackthis thread but I think I know why your explorer keeps crashing...it's the FDMIECookiesBHO Class that for some reason hasnt removed when you uninstalled FDM. If you get hold of ShellExView to show what extensions you have on your windows, you can then disable this extension and you should be ok. This type of error is usually a shell problem and can be sorted with trial and error. Let me know if it works.
