Flavallee, My previous message refers to WEB links on my desktop (as well as in emails) that won`t open - not ordinary shortcuts.

Hi Flavallee, I recently posted the message below but got no answer so far. Can you help?
    Ces7 :
Hi, for some reason my computer won`t open web links that I receive per email and also links that I had on my desktop don`t open any more.
I recently re-installed my printer that was giving problems. Could I have accidently changed a setting somewhere?

    Hi Flavallee,
Such a cute little girl. Your granddaughter I presume?
Just to let you know my problems with my printer (ongoing struggle to get it installed properly, if you recall) have been solved by a teeny weeny little issue: I had the printer connected to my laptop via an adaptor to my external drive, and not directly to the computer. After connecting it to the computer itself, installation was a dream.
Thought I`d share this piece of news for you to remember when dealing with other ignoramusses like me!
    Regards,
    Ces7
