    viewing thread because my Lifebook N (2006) is slooooow also. Norton Security Suite has found nothing but fujitsu speeds up after Comprehensive Scan (4.5 hours) - lasts a few days then back to iffy and slow. IE8 hung up so often I finally removed it. I started a thread but attracted no attention so interested in how this issue is resolved.
