- I'm a wicked little old lady with one son and married to a Swede with six children and 12 grandchildren. I got my degree in English Literature at 74, and it was the greatest experience in my life. I moved from the Los Angeles area to California's Central Valley the end of March, and am busy dealing with the differences and meeting new friends. I am fascinated by the computer and, although I use it easily, I am well aware that one lifetime is not long enough to learn it all. I have learned a little about web design, enough to build my own website with a little help (www.joan-peterson.com) and look forward to having the time to really push my book. I also hope for time to explore my family's genealogy and write a family history. My happiest times are spent talking with friends, reading murder mysteries, watching TV crime shows, and eating lobster (I'm a displaced Mainiac). I love being in and on the water, and miss Maine every moment. I hope there are others out there who are either of my generation or open to getting to know an elder. I would like to know you. jopete
