Hey sorry about the protracted time in replying. I only log in here now from time to time.

Have been around for over 6 years and now usually look for threads that are within my area of interest ( - notice I don't say expertise ) ... then read, and reply. Gave up a long time ago on helping in the tech related forums as I was sick of offering help and getting no feedback either way.

Anyway I have been pm'ing regulars on the site with a couple of websites which may be of interest :

If you want to download music then this is a good place to start :

Search by artist / track. If you find what you want then all you need do is right click on the title and select 'save link as.' It should then download to your pc.

If you hubby likes sports then try here :

They show live sports of all types from all over the world.

You will need a compatible media player ( Sopcast or TVAnts - both available on the site ) - to use ... Download and install either / both ( I only use Sopcast.)

Click Live Sports > click chosen sport > click the available game > click the small tv icon on the right > look down the list of streams for any on Sopcast / TV Ants and click one.

The media player should then start up.

Sopcast uses a default login : anon@sopcast.com - just leave that unchanged.

All being well the broadcast shoud start - just full screen it to watch.

If you have any problems just check their forums as there are FAQs for newbies.
