    I'm Louis, married to Nicole for 44 years now.
    I worked for an american bank in Brussels.
    When retired we came to Portugal and we live there for 14 years now.
    I'm very interested in Science in general and with a stress on Astronomy. I subscribed to Astronomy magazine and the Scientific American, question of keeping my mind alert. I have also a lot to learn about things I'm interested in and for which I didn't have time during my professional live.
    A lot of years ago 1979/1982, I was involved in the introduction of a new computersystem in the bank
    and was having a course at IBM, fact that pronted me to become a computer fan. My first PC was a 286 AT.
    Here in Portugal we are living in the country side
    in an ancient house, with walls of clay mixed with stones and straw. It is rather smal but through the years we managed to adapt the interior to have more comfort. We are cultivating greens, patatoes
    and fruit.
    Hobbies : working wood in my workshed, reading, computering, taking out the dog 3 times a day, and having trips to Lisbon, Setubal and other interesting sites with my Nicole.
    I just hope to be able to continue all this for at least a further 25 years.
