    Well, after I uninstalled two software programs I recently purchased online I thought I had the problem. At least it appears to be solved going from IE to MSWord. However, I just emptied out my recycle bin and after doing so, I received the same error message: "Windows has detected a problem and has to close..."
    I had two applications going (IE and Google Mail) when I did the recycling and I received that message. I then went back to the empty recycle bin, opened it and closed it and received the dreaded message again.
    Any ideas?
