Nice one C++ is a good language to start off with, for a low level language. I personally use either Microsoft Visual C++ 2008 Express or Dev C++, which are both easy to use. Have you decided on a small project yet ? Good luck

I own and use two computers, on is a Dell E520 running windows XP professional with 2gigs of ram an nVidia 7300le graphics card and a 3.0 ghz processor...

The other is used more often, its a HP Compaq Presario F700 series notebook PC, runs windows VISTA home premium, 1.9 ghz amd athlon x2 64 processor, nVidia gforce 700m graphics, and 1 gig of ram....

Admin rights on both computers as i am sole user..
