    Yes, thank you for asking. The problem was that ZoneAlarm Extreme Security was somehow interfering with the complete uninstallation of utorrent, therefore since that one instance of utorrent never actually left my computer, whenever i opened torrents, it would open in the old utorrent, with the week old (2 week old now) torrents still downloading.
