I , too hate dell systems and would never buy one. I build custom systems but do work on Dell computers once in a while.
Your next system you might be wise to shop around for someone you can trust to build a custom one. They are by far the best way to go. Not loaded with all the crap bloatware etc and running lean, mean and clean. Much easier to work with and usually faster as well.
Glad we could help in any way to get you back up and running.
    Happy new year.

I apologize for not writing sooner as I've been traveling; however, I'd like to thank you for the help and advice you gave to me. With your direction of utilizing a spyware tool, I was able to get from a friend a spybot disc that my computer booted from the disc versus the hard drive and removed whatever it was that would not allow my computer to operate. I do not want to insult anyone, but, I am very disappointed or disgusted with Dell support as they did not even return my calls, once I got to reach one of their techs, he suggested I reformat my entire hard drive, this would have been a gigantic task to restore all. What I'm saying is that you and forums.techguy.org saved my computer, I'm so happy my friend directed me to this website. Thank you.
