About Me

I am a late starter and have only been using a computer for about 9 months so I am still very new at all this so please be gentle with me. I have learnt a lot but still have a lot to learn.
Just a little about me, myself and I. I am a 60yr old Disabled Vietnam Veteran - Yes!! Many countries are not even aware that some 61,000 young Australians served in the Vietnam War. - I spend most of my time with my pal here{Hewlett Packard that is} occassionally popping up to our local pub for a spot of Keno{hence the name keno-ken}
Weather permitting, I am also pretty good at terrorising the local mudcrab population.

I have recently undergone an operation called Deep Brain Stimulation to correct a movement disorder which has been accepted as war related. Plenty of references to this on the net. Worth a look. stuff straight out of a science fiction movie.

My likes - Computers, My beautiful V8 GTO, Keno, nice people and serenity. Been through too much in my life.

Dislikes - Drunks, rude people, rhubarb, Drunks, bad manners, Impatient drivers, Drunks, stress, my computer playing up, Cold weather and last but not least, Noisy boisterous DRUNKS!!!!

Computer Specs

I am using Windows XP Pro SP3 Home edition in conjuction with Windows Internet Explorer 8. My computer is a XSonic 2.65GB of Rom with 168HDD. My speed is 1500/256 Broadband. I run AVG 9.0 full version.
