Nebastion thank you for your efforts to help me. Unfortunately I cannot get to the internet to do the virus check. However since I did get it running in safemode I was able to grab the files that I needed to save and copy them to a jump drive. At this point I am going to just buy a new computer. I had been putting it off but this is the right time. Thank you again for your help.
