About Me

I've worked in computer hardware, infrastructure, DB admin and application design since 1991. Mostly self-taught, but I started at the beginning and kept up with the times. Most of us "old timers" started that way.

I am intermediate/expert in all Windows and Office flavors.I am also a registered nurse (not active).

I have lived in 7 states. My dad was Navy and my first hubby dragged me with him for his ceramic engineering career moves.

I love nature and am a 'greenie'. If I find a bug, flower, leaf, I have to find out what it is.

I read avidly. A book a day if I feel selfish. I am also an extreme movie buff.

I need more exercise. I know it but somehow (sigh) never have the time.
