Hi there! I got the same problem with my pc the other day. I can not open www.kaspersky.com but I can browse other sites. Im using kaspersky 7 for almost a year but suddenly i can no longer update its database. I thought kaspersky is still having some modification since the site was hacked. I tried using my other pc with kaspersky 2009 installed, surprisingly, it has no problem browsing kaspersky's site. My suspicion is that, kaspersky 7 is damaged or somewhat infected. I uninstalled kaspersky 7 from control panel and remove all other traces (files and folders) using the search command on the start menu, as well as from the registry. Installed kaspersky 2009, update its database, run a full scan and presto!.... kaspersky AV 2009 was able to detect the trojans, malwares and viruses. Disinfect it all, after that, I can now open kaspersky's site. Sorry for my long message, Im new here and I cant reply to your post. Hope you find it helpful.
