New telly, what sort of DVD player for best picture?
Got a new telly yesterday, Phillips 42PFP5332/10 to be exact;
http://www.consumer.philips.com/cons...V+42PFP5332-10
(bit of an upgrade from a 21inch, 4:3 CRT telly no? )
Now we are looking for an (upscaling) dvd player to go with it.
Would this one provide the best picture possible;
http://www.amazon.co.uk/Sony-RDR-HXD...9118621&sr=1-4

Or, if not, what will (looking to go cheap but good)

That's still a 4:3 display, no? 1024x768 is still 4:3.

Well, this makes me think they're just "fudging" the HD aspect.

Panel resolution 1024 x 768p
