Can anyone help me?
Hey Guys!
I have some of my favorite songs in my iPod that I want to transfer into my computer. I have tried many times by different methods but I am unable to transfer. Do you people have any idea that can help me out? Your suggestion will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance!

i dont believe there is an LEGAL way you can do this. As far as i know the iPod is a one way sync. You can add to the device and delete from the device. It relies on you having the originals on your computer instead of allowing you to copy them back. This is to prevent you copying files to your friends machines etc.

I agree, and I'm going to have to close this thread. If anyone can show me, or any of the moderators anything in writing from Apple that disproves this theory, feel free to email or pm away

I have received a private message, and will post the contents here:

Copying from iPod to computer - Legal Way

In reference to ...

Found some information on the Apple web site that may be of assistance to the OP for putting purchased music back on the computer to work with iTunes...

http://www.apple.com/support/ipod/tu...thebasics.html

Copy your purchases to another computer

1. Connect your iPod to your computer and open iTunes.
2. Choose File > "Transfer Purchases from iPod".
3. If you need to authorize your computer to play these purchases, select Store > "Authorize Computer".
