Solved: RCA tabletop antenna question
I just bought a used RCA ANT111 tabletop antenna.

Here's a pic:

Now I'm finding that I can't screw on the Coaxial cable, because the screw/thread on the rear of the Emerson TV has a wider diameter than the diameter of the antenna's coax-thread.

Furthermore, one of the dipoles of the antenna doesn't screw in properly, and when I compared it to the other dipole (which did screw in smoothly) I noted that its thread was not identical to the good one, but rather has a "tighter" spiral.

Finally, the UHF loop doesn't connect smoothly/easily to the antenna either. I can't get the metal ends to go in all the way.

Should I just mark it off as a loss?
