Need a telephone solution
I work out of my home and I like my office phone - I have Qwest voicemail, big caller ID screen, speakerphone, etc. What I am lacking is portability. I have a splitter in the line and have a cheap handset hooked in so I can take it throughout the house. As I said, the handset is cheap and doesn't work well. It is very hard to find handsets in 5.8 ghz range that you can use, most of the handsets are accessories to existing models. What are my options for allowing me some portability?

I'd look for one of the DECT 6.0 Wireless Phone models, they're the best of the breed right now, and they won't step on any WiFi transmissions. I like mine, and I wouldn't go back to the older models.
