Solved: Saving Animated Email Images
I got an email from my Daughter this morning that has an animated image showing in the body of the message.

I right-click to save, but .GIF is not a file format under which it will save, only .BMP
When I save as BMP, it is no longer animated.

How do I save this as a GIF file?
I am using MS Outlook 2003 and IE 6.0

Thanks in advance,

Mike (LAN)

I remember that IE sometimes won't save anything but a BMP if the cache is not emptied at times. Try deleting the Temporary Internet Files in IE and see if that fixes it.

Hi John.

Thanks for the reply.

I tried that and it still didn't allow me to save as anything other than BMP.

If you'll PM your email addy to me, I'll forward the email to you, if you don't mind.

Thanx in advance,
Mike

Marking thread "Solved" Thanks John.

Might want to let us know how you did it, though.
