connect dvi-hdmi
hello
Not sure if this is the right place to post this but here goes. I have a dell 9300 and a samsung 52" hdtv. I want to connect my computer to my tv. Once I have it connected, what do I have to do to my tv and computer to get it started? Will I automatically see my computer screen or will I have to change something on my tv and computer to use it? Thanks for your help.

If you're trying to use dual monitor support, you can configure that with either the ATI or nVidia configuration program. If it's the only monitor, it'll come up in a compatible mode and you can adjust the display properties.
