Wink What is the BEST PC EVER????
In the spirt of the LONG lasting thread What is the BEST PC game EVER???? ( http://forums.techguy.org/games/3842...ml#post5801645 )

This is about YOUR favorite or best computer you've owned. Yeah, its geek time on this one. Posts are flexible... even top 3, top 5 whatever. Why ya loved that piece of hardware... etc. I think some of those who grew up on PCs in the early years ( 80s ) will have a "soft spot" for that horrible State-of-the are 20x22 character/8 color output on our 19" TVs...

This is NOT the BEST "Operating System" Like Windows95 vs Vista... but of course it could easily be Commodore64 vs Atari, Apple whatever.

Rules: Its a Personal Computer - it can be from work or home. It can be from 1970s up till the present... I doubt anyone actually "loved" their Commdore PET... who knows?

You may optionally include the year or other details of the "beloved" dusty box. if you can, include a picture if its some obscure device... Google is your friend.

Here are some starter links:
CPU history (interesting. In 1980, the 68000 CPU was for MINI-computers, but after a few years it ended up in many $700~3000 Home computer systems like: Macintosh, Amiga and AtariST) - http://forums.techguy.org/games/3842...ml#post5801645

And this is one of the better places to look up older tech by YEAR, Name and more:
