Angry 3rd Gen iPod Nano Problems
Alright, I am at my inlaws house for the weekend and I am trying to help my brother-in-law with his iPod and iTunes. He had some problems but I have since figured everything out until now. We "scrubbed" his iPod and synced it with his iTunes about an hour ago. He 200 songs. He since bought 10 songs and updated them to his iPod without trouble. He downloaded 2 episodes of the Colbert report to his iTunes and this is where the problems began.

He tried syncing these shows to his iPod and it didn't work, it synced and then said it was done syncing. Went into his setting and TV Shows were not set to sync. So I changed that and his apply. It started syncing his iPod. This is where it really gets interesting. iTunes said it was syncing to iPod. The iPod however, wasn't doing squat. Then I got an error message. "The iPod "Andrews iPod" could not be synced. Disc could not be found" Or something very similar to that, can't remember word for word. So I unplugged the iPod, and then reinserted it back into the USB port. iPod said it was connected. It then said it was syncing. While it was syncing it showed up on the left bar in iTunes. Then the iPod said it was done syncing. Right after that it said preparing to eject. Then it ejected. But it is still visible in iTunes. I then went under TV show settings and it was not set to sync. It had gone back to the original setting.

I did that about 10 times. I have reset the iPod, restarted itunes. So that is where I am. I don't really know what else to do. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance guys.

Nothing, huh? Well, I am going to tell him to reformat his iPod and see what happens.
