Internet service without hotspots
I am going to be traveling and staying in my RV for a couple of weeks. Is there a device and service I can buy to access internet service from my laptop in my RV without going out and finding a hotspot to connect with. I have Comcast high speed internet service with Linksys wireless at home within range of the router.

I have Cingular/AT&T cell service so I copied this from my Google efforts although I am trying to access the internet from my laptop NOT my cell phone:

Cingular has an Option GT Max PC card for $99.99 (2-year contract required) and Laptop Connect Unlimited (EDGE) for $59.99/mo (voice plan required).

Anybody have any experience with these types of services they can share?

Judy

Verizon has a pretty decent but spendy wireless service, and I've seen it and the AT&T (used to be Cingular) in use. Both were decent, but not exactly blazing fast, around 750-1000kbits.

How difficult to set up?
I travel a great deal, so say I decide to go for one of these spendy options, how difficult are they to set up? I'm an intermediate as far as computer technology. Also, does anyone have personal experience as to whether or not they really work. I can't believe there aren't problems, perhaps related to from where you are trying to access the net--ie state, county, proximity to towers etc.

They have similar issues as cell phones would have as far as coverage. If you're want the maximum coverage, Verizon followed closely by AT&T are the logical choices.
