Smile Reccomend a computer for me
I'm looking to buy a new or refurbished computer. I was wondering can any one recommend one for me? It will be used by my whole family ages 3, 7, 27, 33. We like to watch streaming video, play KID games (not heavy graphics or anything) like Noggin and stuff, store lots of music and pictures, And surf the internet FAST, also watch dvd's and play cds. We have a dvd burner on our current computer so I won't be needing that feature. I would like to find something fairly cheap, maybe even just a tower. I have spare acessories and what not. Any help will be greaty appreciated. Steer me in the right direction please TY again.

Don't know where you are living but if in the USA might check on www.craigslist.com and or a local computer repair shop. Many times the shops have rebuilt ones they will sell. We purchased a used Dell Optiplex at a small shop about 3 years ago and have had very good luck with it.

Try www.tigerdirect.com and www.newegg.com

Both have bare bones units, refurbs and new. The bare bones units best price if you're comfortable building a machine, but will need to order an OS for it (XP, Vista). The refurbs will come with OS (I've bought a couple from Tiger and been quite happy with them).
