Pioneer plasma screen blocks remote signal
I have a 50" Pioneer plasma TV. When the screen is on, my remote control unit will not work. It seems as though the IR signal is being blocked. I can turn off the screen, and the remote works fine to change volume, channels, etc..

I also have a couple of LCD TVs and there are no such problems with them. Is there an issue with plasma screens and remote controls, and if so, does anyone know a way around the problem? Thanks.
