camera
does anyone know how to get the video light to light. the manual says nothing about making it work. it just says video light. camera is a kodak easy share DX6490

Video light? What video light? How about being more specific so we can solve your problem?

i say its broken. its 2 clear LED's that are the video light. my guess is its supposed to turn on when in video mode. nothing in the camera setup mode.

I have some surveillance camera lights that you cannot see when they are on but the camera can detect the infra red from the led. It's possible they are on and you just can't see them.

Maybe it's automatic. What happens if you shoot in the dark?

nothing. only thing that lights is a red LED on the left of the 2 white LEDs

edit nevermind looking at the manual it points to the self timer light/video light. says nothing about the clear LEDs.

My guess would be, it doesn't have one. You need to buy one and connect it and it will work.
