Solved: Buying a used laptop computer
My Dell laptop computer died. I need to find a very inexpensive replacement. Nothing special, I only use it for Internet and Word. What criteria would I look for? (speed, memory etc.) What is the difference between a Note Book and a computer? I am a clueless senior citizen and on SSI to boot, so it has to be inexpensive.

I wouldn't buy a used laptop on a bet! New ones are so cheap it's just not worth the risk.

You're right, new laptops out there at decent prices. Even Wal-Mart, for heaven sake. Who knew!

Thanks for your quick reply.

New ones come with a warranty that you can actually use too.
