Connecting my PC to my TV with an S Video Cable
I am having terrible trouble trying to connect my PC up to my TV. I just don't seem to be able to get my PC's picture on my TV, and my PC isn't recognising that a TV is attached to it! I have an S Video cable plugged into both which I was informed by someone, would do the trick, so I must be doing something wrong! My PC is an Inspiron 530 from Dell, and my Tv is an LG Model no 32LG56. My graphics adaptor is an ATi Radeon HD 3650 (Syncmaster). I am at a loss as to what to do!! I have tried everything I can think of, although I am no computer expert............. Any help would be much appreciated!!!

Have you enabled the TV out in the ATI Catalyst control center?

I have just tried to give your idea a go, but I can't see how do it....I am not sure where I need to go to enable the TV out. Do you know how I do?

Many thanks,
Lucy.

It's been awhile since I've had an ATI graphics card but in the Catalyst Control Panel there is an option to turn on the TV out. Maybe someone who has one can help more.
