Lightbulb Know of any good KVM switches?
Hi

I'm wondering if anyone knows of a good solidly made KVM switch. I currently use a D-Link DKVM 8-E KVM switch which I don't care for. I don't like the design but more importantly, the operation of this particular KVM switch. I won't delve into the boring details of why I don't like this particular KVM switch but rather just ask for advice on what others out there are using with success.

The switch I'm using has eight ports so I would need a switch with the same number of ports. I need something solid with easy access (no crazy hot-key combos) and fairly easy on my wallet. So if anyone has a favorite, I'd love to hear from you.

Thanks!

2 port kvms are reasonable in $$ - [many people use them]
4 port units go up a bit $$$$$ - [not to many people use them]
but an 8 port unit? - no such thing as 'easy on the wallet' - extremely small market share compared to the above two types - little demand so few manufacturers - thus the price is proportionate to that demand - and the complexity of the internals

and larger units even more so!!!
