I have an LG 8350 and it is my sole mode of communication, both verbal and for connecting to the internet. This has worked fine for a year and a half. Unfortunately, it has suddenly stopped working. Preliminary indications were that the connection cable might be faulty. I purchased two new ones and neither connects properly. Second possibility is that the female connector on the cell phone might be the problem. This is very likely as this form of connection was only used for a single generation of LG phones and has since been abandoned in favor of the USB mini connector. Last possibility is that the cell phone software might be a cause. There is absolutely no indication that the computer itself is or has changed in any way. Occasionally the phone, hooked with one of the new cables, does once again connect. But this is almost impossible to replicate at will. Thanks for any help or further clues you can give.
