dsl cords??

Unhappy dsl cords??
i have 2 dsl cords, they both have one end that was chewed off by my dog so i decided to strip the wires to connect both them and have a working cord but they both have difrent colors , and one has eight the other has 4...

one of the cords has blue,yellow,red,green,black ,orange,gray, and brown cords
but the other cord has a blue ,orange ,(white and orange ), (white and blue)

if you can please tell me id be very happy, if its possible

Do you have a crimping tool for Ethernet? If not, I would not do this, it will lead to slow transmission rates. Also, it sounds like one is an Ethernet cord, the other is a phone cord.

You need to reconsider connecting these two together, because they're not the same type of cable.
