This file does not have a file associated with it.....
I have received two important emails concerned with my house move. When I try to ring them up i get the following message: This file does not have a programme associated with it for performing this action. Create an association in the Folder Option, control panel.

Wen I bring up the Folder Option there ia a totally bewildering choice. I don't know where to begin.

Please help, I'm afraid of missng somethig urgent.

I use Windows XP

Thank you

I've had trouble getting back to you. Tech Support for some unknown reson would not accept my details. I'm back after two days effort.

I posted the following to someone else on the forum.

To be perfectly candid, I am just about loosing the will to live! My brain is calcifying by the day. Just a year after my husband's death I have had to arrange moving from a reasonably big house to a tiny bungalow, single-handed.

The Mail Attachment I receive when I try to bring the email up is " Name: Pickfords - Domestic Terms_ Conditions pdf
Type Unknown

Does that clarify anything?. I have Adobe installed but that isn't helping. In my weakened mental state, instructions suitable for an imbecile would be gratefully received.

Regards

Right click on the file name and select properties. Paste the screen shot here.

To post a screen shot of the active window, hold the Alt key and press the PrtScn key. Open the Windows PAINT application and Paste the screen shot. You can then use PAINT to trim to suit, and save it as a JPG format file. To upload it to TSG, open the full reply window and use the Manage Attachments button to upload it here.

Good advice by JohnWill, as if you ever get another one, you will want to know how to deal with it.

If this company is moving you and it is a legit company, don’t they have a phone?

Usually terms of conditions say things about rules of payment has to be made by how ever many days or to be paid before service provided and rights they have if they have passed these Terms and Conditions on to you on to you, they are covered as to getting their money back etc legally that is if you have not paid them, when the time is due.

It’s a general form a lot of company’s use or should use, sometimes designed uniquely for their company but a lot of general stuff would be the same for most companies. It does not matter who you are they legally are supposed to post these forms out with quotes and or invoices.

I personally would like to know how your problem with this PDF is sorted if I ever come across this problem, so awaiting your post of the picture and JohnWill’s reply.

It may have an incorrect extension or some other oddity, that's why I wanted to see what it actually is.
