Post Solved: S-Video Questions
I have an RCA changer/selector. It has an s-video input for each of the devices and then one for the overall output to the tv. I have a single s-video cable and I'm wondering if I connect the s-video cable from the output to the tv, to the tv will it increase viewing quality? Or do I have to have separate s-video cables for each device and for the tv?

Not sure I understand the question. You need one input from each device, and then one output to the TV. The switcher is there to switch the 4 input devices so that only one is connected to the TV at any time. You may get better quality if you connect any one device directly to the TV, but it shouldn't be much different unless the switcher is of low quality.

Yes I know that you need input from the devices then output to the tv, but there are ports so that you can put an s-video from each device to the changer, then there is a port for an s-video cable for output to the tv. I only have one s-video cable, so basically I'm asking do I need to have s-video from the devices to the changer, and to the TV, or is just from the tv to the changer ok?

You need to have them all connected somehow. If there is some other input, like component video or RCA, then you don't need to S-video for that device.

You don't need any connection from the TV to the devices--that is what the switch is for. You need 5 S-video cables total.
