Big problems with Samsung S500 camera
Hello

I have had this camera for a while now and this this has been nothing but trouble from the start.

It seems to have power issues no matter what ,when i first got it i was able to take at least 10-15 pictures before the batteries die but sometimes it would die out in the middle of taking a picture with the zoom out and all and getting the zoom closed with even new batteries was a challenge ,i got used to this tho.

I finally went out and got some rechargeable batteries and it seems to have enough power ,the light blinks but the dam thing wont turn on? It's stuck in zoom mode and a light blinks ,i hear small clicking noise but no go.

Please someone tell me whats wrong with this thing ,i payed 140$ for it from the pawn.

A lot of digital camera's will not work at all or not very well unless you put real good ones in them, and I mean real good ones, lithium, or batteries intended for camera's, and other such ones. They are expensive, but if you turn off the camera when not using it or better still take the batteries out, so the camera switches can not be accidentally switched back on, and run down the batteries, they should last quite some time. so pretty expensive to start with but if you do that they last.

If that does not solve your solution I would suggest taking the camera in to be fixed or buy another one, pawn shops would only check it to see if working and that is all, they would not play around with equipment to see if its holding power, well I doubt they would, they just want to make money on it.
