I don't know if anyone can help.
My LG KE500 won't turn on correctly - it simply shows the LG logo and then reboots again. It was 1 year and 1 month old and bought from Tescos. I returned it to Tescos and then wanted £20 to reflash it, they would not repair it under the Sale of Goods Act 1979. I now see that someone on this forum had exactly the same problem.

I suspect that firmware corruption of LG phones isn't that rare. The problem with the LG KE500 is that it can't be reflashed via the standard USB cable but needs some intervening hardware.
I am going to pursue Tesco under the Sale of Goods Act arguing that the goods were not fit for their intended purpose. Of course no one expects software to be perfect, and we all know that firmware crashes (my daughters Motorola Razor did, but that was fixed by a simple flash). What I think is remiss is that LG does not give users the ability to reinstall the firmware.
Does anyone else have this problem? Are there other LG KE500 users who have come-up against the same problem.
