Unhappy IR detector won`t even turn on!!!
My Kosmos Microcontroller kit has a BIG problem. :/ When I hook up my Sunplus USB to Serial COM port (Ver 1.0.9.0 ID 07 02 41) connected to my IR detector (Made by Kosmos ID 07 02 41) to the monitor (HP L2045w Ver 2.20.0.0) or to the case (Made by Thermaltake) The (dusty) ports on the back of the case or the (non-dusty) ports on the (side of the) monitor will see it, on the (VERY VERY dusty) front port (USB 2.0) won`t even see it! In both cases, the software (Made by Kosmos Ver 1.1.1.0) won`t see it. It won`t display a mark next to COM 3 and when I click COM 3 It displays "COM not open!" But the BIG BIG BIG deal? It doesn`t even turn on!!! I can tell because the red light NEVER EVER turns on!!! I even put kosmos.ini (attached. Just change .txt to .ini) in C:/windows! Help?
