leaving computer on overnight..
when i leave my computer on overnight to download something or run a scan or whatever, when i come back in the morning it is always in some kind of standby mode and the task isnt completed (i have an asus xssv laptop). How can i set my pc to not go in standby and stay on the entire night regardless? thanks.

Go to start/control panel/power options.
You can disable the standby/hibernate modes there.
You can change other options too.

Might want to change screensaver settings in display properties too.
