Laggy TVs
I'm looking for a TV that has good quality and DOESN'T LAG
My TV back home is an LCD flatscreen that lags during Rockband. My friend's TV is a plasma flatscreen that also lags in Guitar Hero. I read online that Plasma tv's aren't supposed to lag. Is this true?

Or what types of tv's don't lag? And what types of tv's are there (I know of only LCD's and plasma)?
Thanks

You probably want to simply look closer at the specifications. Make sure the response time is faster. The new generations of LED backlit HDTV's are coming in 240HZ models, which should reduce any response time to a very small number.

Take your console along to the store when you go shopping, and tell the salesdroid exactly what you concerns are. Tell him you want to plug in your console and fire up RB and make sure you're happy with the performance. Don't let THEM throw a bunch of marketing numbers at you and simply tell you that you'll like this TV or that TV... confirm for yourself that you're getting a set YOU'LL be happy with.

This is a major purchase and you have specific concerns, so any store that wants your money should be willing to accommodate this. If they refuse, just walk out and go to another store.
