Need Help Choosing Mobile Phone
Hi

I am from the UK andI am looking to get a contract phone. My budget is £15-20 a month. I text more than I call people. I would like to have free internet on the mobile as well. Can anyone recommend a contract for me. I have checked 3 but they have expensive offers. I looked at Virgin Mobile and found this:

http://www.virginmobile.com/vm/viewP...talogue=online

The deal is £18 a month, 30p a day for internet usage (when I use it), 150 mins and 500 texts. Also I have to pay £14.67. If this deal is not worth it can someone tell me a phone that is good for internet browsing? I want a mobile with full internet browsing (i.e. I use my Samsung E840 but cannot view all webpages. If I typed in PESFAN/bbc/etc I expect to see the same layout on the PC in my mobile)

I would appreciate the help and recommendations

I am not in the UK, but I know for a fact that those that connect with Virgin here, for the Internet you get told yes you can get range anywhere, when it does not, even though they are told that before traveling around the country. ( I have worked in remote places and seen this happen for myself) It could be different in the UK.

First if you want to use the Internet on your phone, I would suggest asking around people you know and those from the UK that use Internet on their phone, that are from this forum, they might suggest something else, but word of mouth is the best reference.

I just don't trust sales people, who might be good at sales but know bugger all about the product.

In a nut shell, ask about do research

Thanks for the reply. I have got a contract mobile phone 2 weeks ago now. Sorry I didnt put it up too busy.

I end up getting the HTC Hero on T-mobile. The phone is good and I am enjoying using it. Some menus are hard to find and also its touch screen. Internet access in fair but I can use my Wi Fi connection at home.

I agree with the comment that sales people talk a load of rubbish!
