Nokia 2760 mobile phone
My new cell phone is great but I do have one niggle -the main display doesn't last long enough. I've gone to Settings/Screensaver/Timeout and changed the time to as much as 1 minute (the battery won't like that) but the display still disappears after approx 12 seconds max. Can I increase the display time?

And another question, when I re-activate the screen when the display has darkened how can I re-start it so that the display re-opens where I left it? Is there a key that will just re-activate it?

If all this is basic stuff for you guys then I'm sorry. It isn't for me.
Thanks in advance

hello
have you tried turning phone off. and then back on.? (restart)
if that dont work try taking battery out for about 30 seconds.
if that dont work throw it against the wall.LOL (just kidding)
as for second question. i have no idea.but you could just experiment. (or look at manual)LOL

good luck

Nokia 2760
I'm not ready to throw the phone at the wall yet, Kenny, but thanks for the suggestion.

Having googled this I still haven't come up with an answer (the so called manual is a very small booklet which covers only the basics). One comment I read said that any key would light the screen again at the place where it went dark. True, it does but then the symbol on that key is also on screen.

As for the backlighting, no-one seems to know how to keep the screen lit up for longer than 12-15 seconds. This is such a great little phone except for these two niggles.

Anyone else got any answers?

Thanks again. Yes, the 'manual' is the same. As for switching off the power saver option, I've done that too. Makes no diff.

I'll just have to learn to speed read!
