JVC GR-DA30 video camera downloading problem
Hi, I recorded with this mini dv camera, and now need to upload video to my computer to edit in Windows Movie Maker. It's a Dell desk top 2004. I got a dv to usb cable, but computer says does not recognise device. I cannot find a IEEE 4 or 6 pin port on this DEll desk top (I also have those cables). What do I need to do to be able to download(upload)what I have on video from this camera to my computer? Help!

You probably need a IEEE1394 connection. You can buy a PCMCIA IEEE1394 card for a very reasonable price.
