Reading Light for Portables
Here's something I'm astonished Computer Companies haven't thought of............a small low powered Reading Light just above the Screen on a Laptop. It must be cheaper to produce than a Backlit Keyboard and would probably use less Battery too, while - like a Reading Light - all it's meant for is to illuminate the Keyboard so you can see what you are Typing.

I wonder how mutch it is going to cost, to replace your broken USB ports, after using it a few times, since all of the weight of the light is supported by the USB port and nothing else!

Just seems daft that they don't have a small difused LED in the Lid that runs straight off the Battery and not something that uses up yet another USB.
