Can anybody please tell me how I stop my new phone beeping at me whenever I press any key as it is driving me mad. The user guide is useless. Thanks. Roger

Must be keypad tones. The manual should tell you exactly how to turn them off.

When I said the user guide (manual) is useless perhaps I should have said it does not even mention keypad tones. My wife has a Samsung phone and she was able to turn this beep off although she can't recall now how she did it!!!. I have read and reread the manual a dozen times, tried all the options in "Phone Settings" but still it beeps. Roger

I have cracked it. When I got the phone last week I changed the Profile to loud as I thought that would increase the volume of the mp3 player. When I changed the Profile back to Normal no more beeps. My previous phone, a Nokia, also had different Profiles although I never understood what they were for. Thanks. Roger
