Welcome to the site See this thread http://www.pistonheads.com/GASSING/t...p?h=0&t=544913 seems it depends on what copy you have, some say they have done it and others say you have to get authorisation from Microsoft ....

Quite a few answers you will have to scroll down ....

that depends..

Is it a full retail liscensed cd version of Office 2007, not just an oem extra supplied by the first laptop vendor?

If it is a full version, and you completely reformat, delete the old copy from your old laptop, then it should not be a problem.

By the way, welcome to TSG, stick around, you will find very good, highly qualified help here, and will enjoy your stay!
