Lexmark Z22 problem
I have a new Emachine using Windows Vista. I have an old Lexmark Z22 printer. In the hardware it shows my printer w/a green check mark. However, it will NOT print the test page or anything. It also shows I have Color ink , which I don't, but don't know how to chang that status. I tried installing, uninstalling and attempted to follow info in Windows Vista for Dummies book, but it still won't work.
HELP!! Yes, I'm basically computer illiterate.

Thanks!
Bonnie

Thanks for trying to help me...i've downloaded drivers already and they didn't do anything for this problem.... crazy thing is, it shows up on my hard drive w/a green check mark, but when it goes to do a sample print, it never prints...it just says there's an error, but i can't find out what the error is...it also shows i have colored ink, which i don't , but i'm too naive to figure out where to go to change this status.. lol
Anyway, thanks again!

Try looking in the event log, maybe there's a clue there?
