Solved: remfove sometimes?
Why is it when you remove by add/remove that you still find things all over the computer. I screwed up and removed spybot by mistake, so I went to check on if it was removed or not. Used add/remove, the folder was still there, spybot was still there. Did not remove it, clicked on exe file and it installed spybot again. "Also, removed Adobe Reader 8 for the Adobe Reader 9, using add/remove, Went into adoabe folder, guess what? Version 8 was still there, all 30 MBs of it. I have also found a few other programs that were supposed to be deleted but were not totally removed. Seems like they only remove the desktop kcon. Anybody know why it does not remove the complete program? Not important just curious if anyone knows why.

Take a look at Revo Uninstaller, it does a much better job of truly uninstalling a product.
