Real Player Not Downloading Videos
Real Player is supposed to display a "download this video" button when viewing videos online. It works on my other computers but not on this one. I've downloaded the program, uninstalled and reinstralled three times and still no download button on this windows 7 computer. Do I need to adjust my explorer settings? I'm using IE 8. Thanks.

Ability to download videos from sites like YouTube is not built-in to RealPlayer or into any version of Windows.
It usually requires the installation of a third-party web-browser extension or plug-in.

I use Real Player to download videos from You Tube and pretty much all websites that I visit using other computers. You play a video and the RealPlayer Download button appears. If you look at the Real website, it is one of the benefits of using RealPlayer and there are troubleshooting tips if it doesn't work. One of the tips is to use IE tools to manage addons....choose Real Player and enable. My other computers show the RealPlayer plugin but my windows 7 64 bit pc running ie 8 doesn't list it. Chrome is working very well....it shows the RealPlayer download banner on You Tube videos. I can do it with Chrome but I want to solve the riddle of why it's not working in ie8.
