Because I need this button to work in order to record output audio.
The button is my "Advanced" in "Sound and Audio Devices>Volume>Device Volume".

Likely a driver issue or possibly the type of chipset used.

The only thing of note in the pic, is that it is labeled "Realtek HD Audio output". With emphasis on the "output" as opposed to the chipset name or just "Realtek HD Audio". Is that the link directly from Control Panel? Have you tried reinstalling/updating the audio drivers?

try to update your chipset motherboard and install back the audio driver...
