Hi - heres hoping that I'm posting in the correct forum

Mt problem is with itunes and the devices connected to it . My pc picks up ipod, iphone and ipad. They show up fine under Devices and Printers. All the drivers are up to date. I have started and restarted apple mobile device - I have uninstalled itunes and reinstalled it countless times (making sure that any lingering parts have been deleted also) and I have also contacted apple about the problem. I had already ruin the diagnostic programme on itunes. This was no help whatsoever. Apple tried to sell me some kind of support service (?) but basically I told them IO wasn't interested in that, just getting their products to work in the first place!!

I am using a new PC as well (they tried to say that the new PC was the problem) but as itunes had originally picked up the ipad I fail to see how this is the problem.

By some freak chance (and I don't know quite how I managed it) the iphone has recently been picked uop and is now working fine. Wish I could remember what I did but I was so frustrated that I didn't notice quite what I was typing. I think I was simply "moving" the iphone icon from the list displayed onto itunes??!!

Glad you at least your iPhone recognised, so now I guess it's your iPad that remains to be sorted. This may help:
